About Mwanamke Fund
Mwanamke Fund is a feminist philanthropic organization, an inclusive fund created by and for women, which responds in an innovative way to the needs of women in vulnerable situations in the African Great Lakes region.
We strengthen the financial and technical capacities of local women's organizations to address regional challenges.
Our Vision
To serve in the short, medium, and long term as a local feminist fund embodying fairness, reliability, and accessibility, addressing the technical and financial challenges of women's organizations in the African Great Lakes countries.
Our Mission
Mobilize resources and provide local financial and technical support through the provision of small grants and capacity building for small organizations (led by women) that promote leadership, empowerment and the rights of vulnerable and marginalized women in the African Great Lakes countries.
